MINI Cooper S Cabrio: The Interior

There is no instrumentation panel as a notion. There is huge tachometer that is simply catches your eyes when you get them off the road for a split second. Nice ergonomics. It feels comfortable when driving it. Some people say it is a disadvantage that there is no armrest in the door. The saloon needs to get used to, or its auxiliary elements to be exact: that huge tachometer in the steering wheel, enormous indicating speedometer in the center of the front panel, and trolleybus-like tumblers that control window lifts on the cantilever.

Anyway, it's not all that good as we'd like it to be when it comes to style. The on-board computer mode switch cannot boast of convenient location (it is on the direction indicator lever) and besides, one needs time to get used to it.

One more thing: the trunk lid cannot be closed from the first time and it is impossible to get out the back seat without getting hurt. It seems to be easier to fold the top and to jump out of the car.

The rear-view mirror is more of a decorative element. land rover sport
